This can be a tough course, as it requires you think with a legal, rather than a scientific or accounting, mind. It is helpful to remember the difference between statutes, which are the laws of the land, firmly coded but which allow quite a lot of argument over interpretation; from the more detailed, but less authoritative, precedent cases, where a court has made a judgement based on statutes (and other cases).
