It can be difficult if you have not taken Biology before. I have not taken Biology before but I am able to understand the concepts well if studied properly. Memorising cannot work, you need to be able to grasp and understand the whole process.

Fun

If you have not done biology in high school you are screwed, and the teachers are very unhelpful. You are expected to already have a firm grasp on all concepts.

it is an amazing subject which has a lot of interesting content to learn. it is easy to lear the content but some students may face difficulty in memorising the content. otherwise the subject is overall excellent.

FANTASTIC subject. If you did bio in year 12, you will love it. I found that the subject really challenged me, but the context and experience that came out of it was worth it! You have to be very willing to put in a couple of hours work if you want to do well. But it is a great subject! Highly recommend if you love bio!

Great subject. It is very easy and has got really good content on body systems.

This subject has a lot of content and is easier to grasp if you have studied VCE Biology. It is a subject that requires a lot of preparation if you want to do well. However, it is interesting and engaging as you learn about the physiology of major body systems. Make sure you keep up with the work and revise regularly as it helps heaps for the end of semester exam.

Loved this subject, but it is quite superficial. It would be great if it went more in-depth.

When I did this subject 2 years ago, it was very much a week-to-week basis of learning, where you watch lectures, answer questions in your workbook and attempt weekly quizzes. It was really structured and students definitely will benefit from it, especially those who did not do Biology in High School.
