If you want to do well at Statistics in any year like the above comment says attend consults. It not only offers more insight for requirements to the assignment but exams and builds rapport with your tutor to. This allows them to put a name to a face when they come across your assignment and fortunately offer an element of unconscious bias knowing the extra effort you went to get a good mark.

Soo much better than first year Stats.

Fantastic course - Gold Coast convener for 2017 was great she really helped the understanding of such a complex subject. RMS 1 is highly correlated with the first half of RMS 2 and you really need a solid understanding of RMS 1 to understand or do well in RMS 2. You must apply yourself, do the readings and keep up with the work in order to succeed. Many people fail RMS 2 and I believe they just underestimate the work or don't have a good working of the foundations as every week through the course the content builds upon itself, to then explode your brain when learning repeated factorial ANOVAs and mixed design ANOVAs. Life's good.

This course is a whole lot better than 1003PSY. It helps broaden your understanding with Statistics in Psychology - I strongly recommend attending consults (as others have said), and asking as many questions as you can to help you understand the content.

Attending consults will help you immensely with the assignment.

RSMS 2 is overall a good subject and well managed and statistics is an empowering subject. However, you might find a difference between tutors and course conveners when it comes to what they want from you in an assignment.
