Reviews
This subject was a bit "All hat and no horse". Looked great on paper, Huge potential to be edgy and eye-opening. Lectures were presented with well-intentioned 'gusto' but felt more like a "Drugs and health issues for Dummies"... Needed a bit more grit and less bourgeois banter. The journals required a lot of time-consuming bells and whistles to make them look pretty but not a whole lot of weight given to substance and analysis. Disappointing subject.

Really fun and enjoyable unit with heaps of support from the teaching team however it was not challenging at all! It was very interesting but also very basic. The assessments were journals which were quite easy but due to the word count it was hard to fit in all the answers.

Decent subject. Well run! They always keep everyone up to date. Never left in the dark. Would definitely recommend this subject to anyone that is thinking of doing it.

Very interactive and engaging with interesting topics. Easy to follow.
Anonymous, Semester 2, 2014
Way too easy, total waste of time and the teachers didn't seem to know basic punctuation and grammar.
