This subject uses some previous knowledge from past anatomy and physiology subjects. The lectures are fairly intense and long, so it is important to make study notes off each one to reinforce what they say, otherwise it's easy to forget important information. Practicals are fantastic! You're doing testing with your group members every single week. Tests include: - simple measurements such as heart rate - complex testing such as measuring amount and composition of air inhalation and exhalation with multiple (and expensive) sets of equipment. You must attend every prac as a lab manual (consisting of all class work) is due at the end of semester, and the information received during these classes is highly valuable for the assessments and end of semester exam.
