More difficult than introductory financial accounting. You will learn different topics. Spend a bit more time to through the examples and tutorial questions. The final exam is similar to those.

I felt this unit growing on me over time. The initial 5 weeks is very heavy on the theory, however beyond that point and after the mid-term exam, you begin to work on more practical questions.

Michael Wilson is a fantastic lecturer and tutor. The unit itself does rely on some prior knowledge of Financial Accounting Applications but even if your knowledge is a little weak you can catch up if you put your head down. In exams, questions are virtually identical to questions you are given in tutorials. Do not miss any tutorials!
