This is a great subject. I love it. Investment bank is great. Leant a lot of the industry.

If you want to avoid Math and you're good with theories, this is for you. However, don't mistake it with "easy elective". Only choose it if you're really interested in learning about the field. And if you do, highly recommend attending ALL lectures and tutorials. It's really important to understand the content weekly, since IB is not a subject you can cram in few days (trust me I've been there!)

A very theoretical based subject that provides a complete overview of the various divisions of Investment Banking in particular the various investment funds and strategies that Investment banks use. Particularly useful in understanding the GFC and its impact on changing the industry. It is a subject that is not too difficult to understand however the final examination is really testing in terms of whether or not you are able to apply that knowledge to different factual scenarios
