Not a great unit, and marked very harshly.

I came here to look at the review at the start of this year and decided it’d be a good GPA booster, but NO I WAS SO WRONG!! There were 3 quizzes, although open book, you literally had no time flipping through all the materials; you can’t go back to the question; you had to recall every single word/detail that was on the lecture slides. In terms of the dietary analysis and video, well what can I say.. the assignment instruction was not clear, video was not graded but was compulsory, and marking criteria.. let me put it this way, tutors had their own ‘marking criteria’ after all the effort you put in that assignment, they wouldn’t even read it throughly. I got a C, was hoping HD lol

2019 S02 DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COURSE IF YOU WANT TO GET HD CUZ IT BECOMES VERY HARD SINCE THIS SEMESTER AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME. They just realized that the course was too easy and this semester is super hard and lots of ppl failed. There are 2 quizzes, 1 exam, and 1 assignment. The quizzes and exam are both very very detailed and I feel like you have to memorize every single word that comes from her mouth. The assignment is super hard too, not only recording a 2-day diet, you have to write a 1200 paper to analysis your 2-day diet and you have to film a 2 min video talk about how can you approve your diet. It is not fair for us that they just make the course so difficult this semester. I choose this course with passionate but now I am so disappointed and hate this course so much.

THE BEST UNIT EVER. Easy to score a HD.

Really interesting content, applicable to real life, Thea makes the lectures interesting (but she leaves blanks in the powerpoint notes so make sure you actually go!). Assessments are 4x 15% quizzes and a 40% assignment assessing your own diet - very easy HD.

This subject contains a lot of useful knowledge. Very helpful for your daily life. 4 online quiz need well prepared then can be managed to get a good score. The final report is also a good practice and not hard to get HD
