Great opening course for ECOP, helped established economic and social theory that I have used in every single on of my other units.

I loved this unit. it is a great introduction to political economy, I fell in love with the subject area thanks to the subject. Lynne Chester is a great lecturer and I had a great tutor too.

I genuinely loved this unit. If you came to uni because you see the world for the profit-driven one track to hell that it is, then this unit will truly help you make sense of those existential questions that plague you. With any luck, you will be inspired to understand the overwhelming beast that is the global political economy, and eventually, you will help to change it. Lynn Chester was a great lecturer though she does at times crack the shits with disrespectful teenagers that for some reason choose lectures to do their socialising.
