Reviews

This is a rewarding and meaningful course that helps you consolidate your understanding in the anatomy and function of human brains. The lectures and tutorials are well-structured. To better prepare for the courses, it is advised to have some self-preparation before each tutorial. The mid-semester and end-semester assessments are structured in multiple choice questions so it doesn't require memorizing vocabs and terms; yet, it is more important to grasp the main concepts of each topic.

Loved this subject! It was a challenging yet rewarding unit. The lecturers were entertaining and the tutorials were really engaging.

It's a good subject! Really fun, interesting and the (majority of the) lecturers are great! The first exam is really easy however the second one is quite a bit more difficult due to the content. I advise that you try to keep ontop of your work, and don't fall behind. If you prepare for the tute/pracs, then it will also benefit you heaps as they consolidate your knowledge as well as teach you more stuff.

This is a challenging and interesting course that is very well run. Staying ontop of the course constantly throughout the semester is a must as it is a lot of repeatitive learning. The course director is also very helpful, so use her as much as you can. There are only 2 pieces of assignment for this subject (40% midsem and 60% end of sem, both mcq) so its definitely easy to get a D if you say on top of your workload. Good luck!
