WAY too much workload for a first year subject. 2 hour lectures each week with 100+ slides and 4-8 readings per week. The assessment is not bad but the workload in order to do the assessment is just too much. If this wasn't a first year course, it would be more reasonable to have this much workload.

Interesting class, loads of information to take in, the text book is really helpful and interesting and the lecturer is pretty great and helpful. The exam was awful, just really terrible. If you can retain LOADS of information then you will do well in this class.
