Was a pretty interesting course and the main reason I pursued similar courses afterwards. The second half was especially challenging (PDE section) because it's the first course in which you encounter them so it's all a bit new. If you can understand, memorise and use the Fourier transform / Fourier series (including where the coefficients come from) and the Laplace Transform, then you'll probably do pretty well. Only real downside when I took the course was a really heavily weighted three hour final exam. The assignments were generally pretty straightfoward applications of the lecture topics, it wasn't too difficult to get almost all the answers correct. It's a fairly content-heavy course, too, because it's basically two courses in one.

ODE's and PDE's. Happy days. I found a fair bit of this subject is learning processes unless you want to go into further research for either main topic
