I really enjoyed this course!! Went into it not expecting to enjoy it, but something about genetics just clicked with me. Prac content could get a bit tedious at times, but the course as a whole is great!

I'm not the biggest fan of genetics but I really enjoyed this course. The lecturers are great, especially James Fraser. The mid sem and final exam were each worth 30% which was good. You also have short essays to do but only your best ones count towards your grade. They also give you the real past exams which have similar questions each year. The practicals are also very fun and chill. Would definitely recommend. Is useful for medicine and research.

Such an interesting subject! James Fraser is one of the best lecturers I've ever had, great at keeping your attention. Make sure you do the pre-prac reading or you'll get really lost. The past exam papers are extremely helpful so make sure you do them.

Very important subject, especially if you want to do anything related to research or medicine in the future. Might seem a bit too full on but with patience and study, it's quite easy to do well. No surprises in the exam either.
