Reviews

Great course with detailed knowledge related to multi-variable calculus and ODEs. The 3D plots and very logical explanation on the workbook are really helpful.

Great course and follow-up to MATH1051. This course is obviously more difficult, but in particular the MATLAB component becomes much more difficult as the semester goes on, to the point where significant prep work is needed to succeed in the hour provided (you can sort of get away without thoroughly doing this in 1051...). Once again though, course materials are great and all the resources necessary are available on Blackboard to practice and do really well.

Easy subject but still need to do more practice to get good grade

Great introduction to Applied Mathematics. Covers useful topics in an interesting way. This subject can be tough, but if you put in the effort, you can easily do well. Also provides a nice introduction to MATLAB.

Great introduction to the most fundamental concept in math, underpinning pretty much everything that moves. This course is well worth trying to do well in, because the techniques taught here are invaluable elsewhere. Stick with it, and you'll thank yourself.

Content is not hard and like other math courses, as long as you put in enough effort you'll be rewarded equally in the end. Poh is also a good teacher and runs the course very well.

The course is well structured, bcs 50% of the course come from the quizzes and matlab ( which makes you work hard all the time) . Jon is little bit quick. I will strongly recommend prereading as it improve the effectiveness of lecture a lot.

If you have Poh as your lecturer, you're pretty much set for the whole course. She runs the course well and is an excellent lecturer. Be sure to follow her lecture stream. She is extremely helpful as well(responding to emails and questions after class)

Very enjoyable course with interesting and relevant lecture content.
