Builds on knowledge gained from 104&105 to prepare you for second year chem. Since the subject is taught over summer, it's mostly online. This makes it hard to learn if you're used to a more face to face method of learning. The lecturer understands this and accommodates the students where possible by being available over email and giving two interactive live stream sessions per week, but it can still be a challenge. There are weekly assignments AND quizzes for this subject. You may find the assignments somewhat challenging as they are all in the form of written answers rather than multiple choice. This means that you don't only need to understand the content, but you need to be able to explain it to someone else. Overall, the subject is a bit of a challenge, but the help is available if you need it. If nothing else, it'll keep you in a good work pattern over the summer and help prepare you for what's coming in second year.
