Reviews

Sincerely I find anything related to law to be very simple, I did not need help of anyone to pass this subject. Overall this was an amazing subject that I passed seamlessly

Excellent

Really great subject, the textbook is so helpful.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Interesting and useful content, but I found delivery a bit dry. Knowing how to structure a clear argument and memorising cases is a must for doing well.

Interesting content

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2016

It's an okay subject with very interesting theory. If you complete tutorial homework and know how to tackle the main assessment which is the research mini-essay then it's a good subject.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2016

The course is actually very interesting, a lot like legal studies at the start if you took that in high school. Be prepared because they mark quite hard in the written assessments and you need to have quite a good memory to remember multiple relevant case names for the exam. Definitely recommend attending the lectures!

Very interesting but the assignment can prove challenging. Definitely a great way to learn fundamental business law.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2015

The content was surprisingly interesting and Leela was a fantastic lecturer. I highly recommend attending the lectures if you want to achieve a high mark. It is important to note that not all of the tutors are up to date with the material and are ensuring the correctness of the information they are relaying. My tutor consistently made mistakes such as telling us to address particular problems for contract law in a manner that the lecturer had explicitly told us we would lose marks if we did.

I was quite surprised with this course, I found it very interesting and Leela is a great lecturer! I would definitely recommend taking this as one of your flexible cores.
