This course is very interesting, but also quite challenging. It is primarily calculation-based, so make sure you do lots of practice. They give you a massive Q-Bank to practice with, so just keep drilling those and you'll be able to do well.

This lecture is really very important in order to understand portfolio structures. In order to be successful, you have to have a good statistics background. Lecture book has very hard end of chapter questions so do not get disappointed if you cannot solve them,

Although it is a complicated subject which involves a lot of calculation and statistical knowledge, it broadly enhance my finance knowledge. I can even apply the concept that learnt in class to the real class investment selection. The tips for getting a good grade for this subject is try to practically understand the on-line quizzes and moodle exercises calculation questions rather than memorise the calculation procedures.
