Waste of time if you've done high school bio or chem or BABS1201. Too many assessments worth almost nothing.

If you’re wanting to do microbiology and biotechnology, then this is the course for you. The skills you develop from the labs will be handy for you when you progress into your second year courses. The labs were 4 hours long but majority of the times you’ll end up finishing within 2-3 hours, depending how much work needs to get done.

Fun labs, great tutors, and a very interesting course. Perfect for those wanting a taste of all science majors or trying to decide on one as all are covered in at least one lab over the semester

Gives a great introduction to microbiology, biotechnology and general biological processes and their applications. Fun and interesting labs, although they can get a little long.
