Lecturer has a habit of not posting the full lecture slides. They include red text for key concepts that are only shown in person and never posted online. It also feels like the lecturer is reading off a whole separate slide of notes (e.g. the slide may have two sentences but the lecturer speaks for 5 minutes on that one slide). The first essay is also graded very harshly for a first year course. Lectures are very fast paced and 3 essays of 1200-1500 words each are expected in 2 hours for the final. Genuinely a terrible first year course to take for aviation

The lecturer is interesting but you either love her or you hate her. I did very well with my assignments and I had an interest for safety etc, although sometimes I fell asleep during the class. The assignments included a 30% essay ( including 10% peer marking), 10% mid semester MC quiz and 15% group work. It was kind of like psychology so if you're into that type of stuff about the brain, memory etc. then this will be enjoyable for you. I do know a few people who disliked this course but its one of those things that you'll have to try out for yourself. If you're good at essay and have an interest for psychology, you'll ace this.
