Don't be misled by the course name, most of it is just about Japanese culture in general and lots of it is very similar to ARTS2872 Living and Dying. There was barely any information on assessments and feedback is super vague. The lecturer didn't know how to teach or what to talk about. Classes were quiet and confusing. Just buy Sheila Jasanoff's book and save your time.
