This is a very statute-heavy course, relying on the two main pieces of legislation: the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth). Accordingly, this course does not lend itself readily (or at all) to the conventional CP (Class Participation) assessment model. Instead, this course assesses students through a Case Note (20%), an in-class Mid-Term Exam (30%) and a Final Take-Home Exam (50%). I personally enjoyed this course very much, owed mostly to the teaching style of Jus Selikowitz who arms students with the necessary information to pass the course.
