WORST SUBJECT EVER. too much content. the tutor dean is scary as. no late submissions, like... not even half hour late would they mark it. actual aids. so boring and intense.

If you don't have a background in economic history, don't even try. This should not be offered as breadth and should have some pre-reqs attached to it. The subject matter is often extremely dense and technical and not enough time is spent unpacking in tutes and lectures. The assessment and reading was also extremely dense and there was an excessive amount of it (at least 150 pages per week). Overall, way too much to ask of students who have no economics background.

Interesting subject if you like history and are curious about how economy of different countries worked in the past. Overall, not too hard if you are a good writer, since this subjects requires a lot of essay writing.
