i didn't particularly enjoy this subject. the exam format makes it easier to get good marks but i found the content really uninteresting. i loved VCE psych but this didn't really feel the same. and don't miss heaps of lectures, its way too easy to fall behind and have end up with way too many to catch up on. the stats part was really minor and wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be

If you're interested in areas such as memory, consciousness, learning, research/quantitative methods, and neuroscience (especially the visual and auditory systems), then you would enjoy this subject! The assignment was a little vague (we had to watch a sunset and then explain how our brain constructed our perception of the event) but it was enjoyable. The exam was a multiple choice exam, which covered four modules. Overall, this was an interesting subject, but it was lacking learning materials, which would have helped support students -such as relevant readings or text book excerpts.
