Boring.

A rather easy, yet a bit dry breadth subject. I would still recommend this subject for students studying computing or commerce since it is applicable to both disciplines. The lecturer, David Eccles, is great and straightforward in his teachings! Tip: attend the final lecture - you won't regret it!

The lecturer, David Eccles is a great one! He helps explain the subject in a simple manner that is easy to understand with lots of example. Put extra effort in your team project - this can seriously affect your grades. Get a good tutor, as the workshops discuss in detail concepts that will come out in exams. A good breadth subject to pick if you're interested in ISYS.

Great if you're looking for an easy breadth, but gets a bit dry sometimes.. Assignments can be frustrating at times due to the coordination of the subject being pretty poor but they're not very difficult so makes up for it. Exam was a bit of a joke, lecturer told us what would and wouldn't be in the exam in the last lecture. Easy to cram last minute.

Difficult to fail as long as you put in effort in completing the two assignments. Exam questions are somehow similar to the sample exam given. Sample exam's answers can be found in the lecture slides although the answers are not given by lecturer.
