This subject is really great! I did the subject as possibly the only person doing it as breadth (from science) and found it very approachable. I do have a background interest in history and have experience in document analysis tasks, research essays, historiographical analysis etc. so that definitely helped, but it is structured in such a way that it doesn't bias philosophy or history and students were able to interpret tasks from whichever field they were more familiar with. Gerhard was a really knowledgeable and experienced tutor, lecturer, and subject coordinator who understand that the subject brought a lot of different people from different fields together. He also understood the limitations and anxieties that come with having to conduct most of the subject online for the semester.
