This was a really great subject for French students! Jackie, the coordinator was great, her French was super clear and easy to understand, and she was really engaging and friendly and really seemed to want everyone to do well. One thing I would say is that a couple of the readings were quite difficult for me (I was completing French 7 at the same time as this subject), but I think the entire class found this to be the case, so don't worry if you feel that way. Towards the end of the semester tutorials did start to feel a little repetitive as you generally do nearly the exact same discussion questions on different readings every week, but everyone in the class was really friendly, so it wasn't too bad. The lectures were really interesting. Overall a really great subject!
