I really enjoyed this subject! This subject was formative for me - over the semester, I fell more and more in love with literature born from this time. I loved the expansive text list of this subject - covering novels, novellas, plays, poems, political writing, manifestos - it really opened my eyes to the types of writing that falls within 'literature' and that can be studied in an English and Theatre Studies major. When I took the subject in 2022, an oral presentation was a required assessment task. This was probably my only hold up about the subject as I feel more comfortable with written tasks.

This was actually a very interesting subject content-wise, but my tutor was not great and pretty boring.
