Reviews

Exam surprised everyone. The content, assignments and tests were all interesting though and slightly challenging. It just feels as though the exam looked for a lot of further study beyond what is taught in lectures and the weekly questions. Past exams were alright so I assume we were handed an extremely difficult exam.

Highly recommend for EE beginners. Very practical and useful subject. Main study outcome: 1) Signal fundamental knowledge: analog and discrete-time signals, their mathematical properties, tricks and approximations 2) Signal processing techniques: Fourier series, signal time and frequency domain transform, Fourier transform, Fourier analysis, Laplace transform, Z-transform 3) Signal system representation: use the matrix to represent the system, transfer functions, signal response from the system 4) Lab: use MATLAB to process signals and design digital filters
