Very enjoyable, well-run subject. Assessments are MCQ quizzes (from lecture slides), a coaching plan + session (you have to run your own 20min PE lesson) and then a training plan. Pretty straightforward, easy to do well in (I got a 95). Practicals are super fun, you basically get to play PE for people's different sports. Pretty enjoyable, there is an element of teamwork (PE sessions run in pairs, 'reading circles' where you have a group to go through readings with) but ultimately everything is an individual mark. Would definitely recommend if you have an interest in sport. You get an ASC coaching cert out of it as well.

Fun bludge subject

Very fun subject! Course wasn't run amazingly well but all the tutors kind of cancel out any admin mishaps and communicated everything very well with us. Mainly read from slides the whole semester as lectures were mostly read from slide anyways. The practicals were super fun and got to meet a lot of different people from different courses (apart from BCom which I am in). It's worth noting that a lot of the content I knew from Physical Education 3/4 in VCE which made it a lot easier, but I know all my mates who hadn't had any experience scored very well as well (we all got mid 80's)! Final assignment requires a bit of work to do well in but it is worthwhile and with effort, a high score is achievable. In summary, a fun subject that I would recommend for both the experience and content, as well as H1 if that's what you're interested in.

Whilst the subject content was interesting enough, the subject was badly organised and at times very frustrating

It's a very interesting subject especially helpful for students interested in education. Could use more improvement in teaching, some things are not covered but asked in the quiz. Not particular international student friendly due to a bit of language barrier (slang and terms we are expected to know). Will help (but not necessary) if you have basic knowledge on particular sports. Sports psychology was particularly interesting.

Fun subject, badly taught. I did this subject over the summer and we had to submit our final assignment before we got our marks back from any other assignment which was very annoying. Lecture ranged from interesting to snooze fest and most people didn't bother attending by the end of the week. Overall though the subject is fairly easy to do well in but if you want a subject you can learn a lot of interesting things from this is not it.

Very fun subject. Outdoor classes are extremely fun especially when learning new sports. Guest lecturers come from interesting backgrounds
