As an ecology student, I enjoyed this subject. The first prac was rough, but apparently they'd never run it using R before so that's why it went poorly (for everyone). The lectures, pracs and tutes all connected very well. Definitely need to have some knowledge of using R. Most of the lecturers (especially Mike) were great, however he wasn't around a lot so if you had questions it mostly had to be via email. The tutes are small, which can be a pro or con depending on your preferences. Lots of assignments but all very relevant and helpful to learning. Overall a solid subject.
