Reviews

As a student of the updated course (Animal Physiology and Growth) I am so sorry and best of luck to you if you have to take this as a prerequisite for your major like me because this is the most terrible subject I've ever taken in terms of organisation. It's actually atrocious how something as incohesive as this can pass as a subject.

It's called Animal Physiology and Growth now but literally a third of the class ended up withdrawing because of its difficulty and lack of organisation. I thought I could tackle it because content-wise, it was interesting and that was my initial driver but then again, I was not about to pay to teach myself out of the textbook.

By Far the most appaling subject I have ever done. I have taken the updated version of this course (animal physiology and growth). The lecturers do not appear to have any confidence in what they are teaching and are incredibly vague in their answers to question. Poor content delivery and organisation of the subject. This subject should no longer exist at the university of melbourne and I feel sorry for the people who have to take it.

Difficult subject and the pracs were fairly boring but the lecturer was great and really supportive.

THE worst subject I've done. Do not do it unless it's a prereq to your major. Really unorganised and extremely content heavy.
