Lectures are interesting, but not deep enough to be in a unit subject IMO. Lecturers and tutors are kind of cold. I submitted my final essays four days late, but my tutor refused to mark it, although the university has a law that says assessments can be late for no more than five days, and the lecturer also provided a 2% per day mark-reduction policy related to late submissions IIRC. Later the lecturer reluctantly accepted my late submission and only gave me a 2 out of 40 for my essay that just made me pass the subject. I can't say it's totally unreasonable since he said the topic I chose for my essay was too broad, but the grading is still very fishy. If you're a native Chinese and want a WAM booster, it might work for you. But it's really not that easy for you to do very well.
