This was my favourite subject during masters. Back then, it was the only subject with specific modules which couldn't be taken through any of the 'applications' or 'characterisation' subjects. The material has been quite useful to me over the years, for my own research and for having conversations with people from other fields. It was a little all-over-the-place when it was taught in my year, because the lecturers were travelling and had to get replacements. That hopefully won't be a problem for you. (I took this subject in semester 1, 2015, but that doesn't appear in the drop-down menu, so I'll select semester 1, 2017, which is the oldest option available.)
