Reviews

I took this subject as a core for my major (cell & developmental biology) and it has been probably one of the best subjects I've taken at uni. Kind of surprised that the cohort was so small (~80 I think?) but hopefully my comments encourage more people to take this subject in the future. I found the lecture content (plants included!) really interesting and delivered in a logical and engaging manner. There were also a few guest lectures (examinable) which put what we were learning at the time into a world context/bigger picture which was awesome. There is a lot of assessment (3 x MSTs, a scientific paper review and end of semester exam) but don't let that scare you away. It helps you to stay on top of things and learn skills (the paper review especially) so by the time the exam comes around you should be able to go in there and give it your best.
