Worst subject I have taken as part of my masters so far. Lectures are often 1hr long tangents without any clear learning objective. Weekly practicals turn into another lecture with minimal hands-on elements (and the extra lecture isn't very helpful tbh) and there is basically no assistance as there isn't enough demonstrators. Also, the instructions for each practical leave a lot to be desired. The assessments aren't too difficult but it seems like they mark on a whim - will take marks off and not explain why (just highlighting the rubric isn't adequate feedback). The marks are also extremely variable depending on the marker - absolutely no consistency. The communication in this subject is also woeful - don't expect replies on the discussion board or notifications about assessments in a timely manner. Sometimes, the co-ordinator would answer questions after the submission date for the assignment had already past. Honestly, I'm doing the final exam rn and I want my money back. Would not recommend.
