This subject is challenging in the best way and provides a thorough understanding of some of the key debates and themes in anthropology. Professor Hage has worked with some of the great thinkers of our time such as Pierre Bourdieu and is himself an exceptional intellectual, and this really comes across in the content. A particular highlight is his deep knowledge and discussion of the gift, a central concept in Anthropology. Although it will challenge you it is incredibly engaging.
