The lecture content was slightly confusing at times and I struggled to find the relevance with some of them. However Tammy (the lecturer) was an absolute gem and it was great to see her enthusiasm for the subject - made me excited about it as well. Note that assignments are marked fairly harshly.

Good introduction. Tutorials are solely based on readings so do them if you do not want to appear as a fool. The first assignment was a bit tricky for me but for a final essay, I got an H1. The quiz is based on lectures, readings and nothing more. Do the work and you'll get higher than an H2A I reckon.

The content was interesting but wasn't always delivered well, the lectures are too long and are dragged out with irrelevant information, and the tutorials are a waste of time. The assignments were vague and marked harshly (in order to appear more 'serious' of a subject). It was fun and educating at times but also a waste of time and risky with grades.

Good introduction to anthropology as a discipline. Tammy (the lecturer) is hilarious

interesting course content, but the tutorials were poorly structured and often felt pointless with rare in depth discussion of the readings (fairly clear over half the class hadn't done them each week). the test was extremely easy but make sure you prepare at least an essay structure a week before its due or it'll be a terrible time.
