Hi! I'm Rahat Mehmood, a dedicated tutor with a strong blend of industry experience and academic excellence. I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Telecommunication Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad. Before my postgraduate studies, I worked professionally in network engineering and earned the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. I bring practical, real-world experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level networks. In addition to tutoring, I also offer hands-on lab training for CCNA and CCNP certifications, helping students build confidence in working with actual networking scenarios using simulation tools and real hardware setups. My academic background includes active involvement in cybersecurity research. My recent work on insider threat detection using machine learning was accepted for presentation at the SINCONF 2024 international conference, and I co-authored a paper titled “Optimized GTS Utilization for IEEE 802.15.4 Standard” during my undergraduate studies.
