UniMelb Arts Tutor Darcy

My name is D'arcy (he/him). My poetry has been published in the Cordite Poetry Review and the Australian Poetry Anthology. In 2021 I achieved First Class Honours in my Honours Thesis at the University of Melbourne. My thesis was titled, Depression as a Pathological Outcome of Neoliberal Ideology: Resistance to Normative Depression in Sally Rooney's Normal People. I currently study the Jurisdoctor of Law at the University of Melbourne. Outside of the academy, I play in Naarm based art-rock band Think About You. I engender an allusive style of poetry into the group's lyrics. Stew Magazine have described Tay as "a unique blend of Celtic folk and Australian garage punk". I have also been a member of Birdpop and Mouseatouille. I can help you with accessing creativity, structure, flow. I do online or in person. I'm in on campus most days.
