Hello! My name is Luca (like the song) and I’ve been tutoring for around 3 years now. I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in June 2023, finishing with an 82.6 WAM. My honours thesis, The Ecology of Being and Time: An Essay on Heidegger and Environmental Praxis, similarly received a mark of 82. My specialisations and interests include: - Environmental Philosophy - Political Philosophy - Continental Philosophy - Early-Modern Philosophy - Phenomenology and Existentialism - Philosophy of Language This being said, I have experience and interest in all areas of philosophy and can help with all subjects within the field. I offer planning sessions and proofreading for essays, as well as help with referencing. I’m also aware that studying can be quite stressful, so I can assist with forming study plans and general study habits as well if that’s something you’re interested in working on. I’m more than happy to meet either in-person or online. If you want to meet in-person, I usually suggest the Baillieu or State Library. Online, I would normally go for Zoom and Google Docs, but I’m happy with Skype or Facetime too. Rates: Planning Sessions: - 30 minutes: $40 - 30 minutes (2+ people): $50 - 1 hour: $80 - 1 hour (2+ people): $100 Proof Reading and Essay Advice: - 1000-word essay: $40 - 1500-word essay: $50 - 2000-word essay: $60 - 5000-word essay: $100 - Philosophy Thesis (10,000 words): $150 Note: Let me know if you are unwaged and we can negotiate fees.
