Hi, I'm Milo. I've been tutoring professionally since 2019. Having graduated from the University of Melbourne in mid-2022 with First Class Honours, I'm looking forward to help you build the same skills that helped me continually improve my WAM over my 3-year course, including increasing clarity of writing, careful and strategic breakdowns of your tutor's feedback and deep-dives into each assessment's instructions and marking rubrics. I am able to provide extensive detailed lecture and tutorial notes for each of my subjects, as well as high scoring exemplars for each assessment. I understand the importance of individual learning styles, and I am committed to taking the time to carefully step you through subject concepts and writing skills in a way that works for you. Other than my listed subjects, I'm available to provide structural/writing tips, planning advice and extensive proofreading for any University assignment that you might need! Please read below for the two options for my tutoring and proofreading: A) One-on-one digital tutoring sessions (held via Google Docs and Zoom calls that can be recorded by the student). If regular sessions are being held, my rate covers out-of-session feedback for any writing submitted between lessons. B) Solely just detailed proofreading and feedback on written assignments. Here, I will time myself (including time taken to read over previous assessment feedback, rubrics etc.) and charge via my $80/hour rate. Here, no tutoring sessions are held. - Proofreading takes me roughly 30m (so $40) per 1000 words, but obviously this can depend on the assignment.
