Hi! I'm Nat, a Final Year Student at Macquarie, currently studying a Bachelor of Professional Accounting & Bachelor of Advanced IT (Software Technology).
I have:
- Over 3 years of experience in university tutoring, both privately and in the MQ Department of Computing as a Sessional Academic
- 5 years of experience in accounting at various companies (that I use to take university material, to a real-world context).
My teaching style is an incremental approach. You can excel in any subject, as long as you have strong fundamentals for each concept. The goal is to find out why you are not understanding, backtrack to understand any pre-requisite knowledge first, and then it will become significantly easier to understand the new concept!
I use a combination of drawings, analogies and practice examples to get you understanding not only the question, but the principles behind how and why to solve any of the questions that will come up. My recent experience in taking these subjects means I can tailor the session to focus on the most important aspects of the course, and maximise your marks.
My available times are: Weekday Evenings OR Weekends.

Please bring your lecture notes / any other material provided to you for the subject by your lecturers, convenors or tutors - it will make it easier to isolate the important parts of the subject offering. If you've tried questions out ahead of time and would like some guidance, please bring any working you've already tried.
