Recently awarded 'Schwarzman Scholar' (mostly based on my leadership experience in teaching), becoming the youngest Schwarzman scholar chosen from University of Melbourne. Currently finishing an MBA in Healthcare Management in Boston. I was a UROP student at WEHI. I also did a project in the Enteric Nervous system lab with Joel Bernstein (one of the prominent neuroscience lecturer at unimelb). And I love teaching! Have been doing it for years, can't stop! And now I teach online only. I started a coaching centre (www.bioland.institute) where I had about 100 students. I taught extensively every vacation I got, and all my students got A*s in O' level Biology and Human Biology (with some As). I would highly recommend Debbie as your tutor! I started lessons with her a month before my exam, and my score boosted from 69 after mst to 83 after final exam! She is a kind and helpful, always answers my questions quickly.

Debbie helped me in biochemsitry, she was BEYOND AMAZING! In the classroom she was well prepared to all our lessons, and outside the classroom she sent wonderful words of motivation. Debbie is an incredible tutor!! Debbie tutored me for PHRM20001 - a subject that I doubt I could have passed without Debbie's help. She is so enthusiastic and engaging in her explanations and makes complex, challenging concepts seem simple and easy. She really wants every student to do their best and constantly checked in to make sure that I understood all the concepts well. She has amazingly clear, detailed summary notes that helped me out a lot. Her advice is invaluable from revision techniques to note-taking methods to career pathways - she is happy to help with any question! I wish I had found her sooner and could not recommend her more as a tutor!

Debbie is one of the best tutors I know! She helped me a lot with Neuroscience and Neurophysiology. She is incredibly patient and very passionate about Neuroscience in general. Her notes are amazing and helped me understand tough concepts. Would definitely recommend her sessions!

Debbie was able to make difficult and challenging concepts look so easy! She exhausts all possibilities to make sure you have understood the concepts and she also confirms this by creating questions to test your knowledge. I highly recommend Debbie!!

I have never met a tutor as thorough and enthusiastic as Debbie. She has the kindest soul and is genuinely interested in the performance of her students. She helped me pass two units which I know for a fact would have failed without her. Debbie is so knowledgeable in everything she tutors and it shows through the grades of her students. Also her notes are A+, a game changer, really. Would highly recommend her 1 on 1 sessions as well as her classes. There is no doubting her knowledge, she really understands her students and she makes it easier to understand the overall concepts. She will put together all the concepts into one, making it easier to grasp. If you need a tutor, she’s the one you should go to. She’ll put the effort in and I think that’s the difference between her and another tutor. Thanks Debbie for helping me throughout the semester. You’re a lifesaver and I genuinely wouldn’t know what I would do without you :)

I came to Debbie after failing my principles of neuroscience mid sem but she eventually helped me out for neurophys as well. She is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable in these subjects and it shows from the way she clearly breaks down and explains the concepts. I was part of her group classes and I personally found this helpful as there was more room for discussion. Also, her notes are just a life saver! I managed to pass both these subjects thanks to her amazing help. Would highly recommend her to anyone who's struggling. You won't regret it :)

I would highly recommend Debbie as a tutor. She tutored me for Principles of Human Structure and I honestly couldn't have gotten through this subject without her incredible help.
