People learn in different ways, lecturers teach differently, sometimes your motivation drops, or you're struggling to keep on top of the work. Or it might be that last unit you need to do! Whatever it is, I'm here to help. I've been tutoring for more than 4 years now, specialising in finance, economics, mathematics and statistics. Especially third year finance subjects such as AFIN3052 and AFIN3028. The most common session 'style' which many students have found helpful is going through content and examples - seeing what the question style is like and how to answer. Regular weekly sessions like this allows you to keep on top of the work, without fear of falling behind. Similarly, another popular sessions style is going through tutorial questions, understanding how to answer them, developing a method to follow for any / all kind of questions. We can do a mix of styles, alternate or both. The session time is yours and whatever works best for you is what we'll do. Alternatively, I offer single or multiple (in a short period of time) sessions focused on assignments. We can work through the assignment requirements together, or just having a second pair of eyes. Please note that I do not do assignments for or with you, do not ask me to. How it normally works: I share my iPad screen and annotate notes and answer questions whilst providing a verbal explanation/walkthrough on how and why it works, and the steps for you. The time is yours so feel free to ask anything you like. At the end of the session I will email you the pdf of the notes. I have been asked every question under the sun, there is no such thing as a silly question. End of the day, my goal is to get you across the line, irrespective of where you started. No student of mine has failed with regular sessions. Notes are available for selected subjects.

Maths is not my strongest, having done general level in grade 12, I struggled with applied portfolio management. Aaron was fantastic at breaking down questions in a simple manner. From the first time failing (by a large amount) the subject to getting a good pass was all I needed, largely thanks to Aaron! 🙏🏻

Aaron was a great tutor who assisted me in MATH1020. He provided in-depth analysis that complimented the lecture and SGTA material. He knew the content well and the sessions were easy to follow and interactive. If you need a tutor for any maths, Aaron is a must.

Aaron was an absolute legend in helping my lift my grade for AFIN3052. I received a poor result in the midsem and contacted Aaron. He immediately settled my nerves which was comforting and gave me the motivation to not give up. His lessons are informative and at times when the lecture can be very confusing he breaks down the key concepts in an effective manor. Aaron also provided many useful tips for the final exam. I don't think I would of passed this unit without his support - couldn't recommend more.

Aaron tutored me in Finance 1B and Financial Modelling in semester 2 of 2021. I was nowhere with these subjects around 1 and a half months out from the final exams - on track to fail. I then engaged Aaron as a tutor for the remainder of the semester, who assisted me in comprehending key concepts, improving my working out, explaining the ins and outs of the subject, what is necessary or unnecessary to look over, exam techniques and preparation. He takes his time in explaining complex questions and is always calm and never frustrated if I wasn't quite grasping something. He continually checks in to see if you're understanding as he goes through his lessons. This tutelage enabled me to achieve comfortable passes for both subjects. I would highly recommend him and I hope to retain him as my tutor for future finance units.

Aaron was a great help with me this semester with the unit ECON3011 he helped me on a weekly basis and made this semester easy to understand . He helped me with understanding all the content In a simple way that I didn't get in the lectures or tutorials.I can confidently say without Aarons help I would be struggling and most likely fail the unit so i'm forever grateful to him. would recommend him to anyone!!! thank you so much

Arron was a great tutor! If you are looking for a tutor for ECON2032 I highly recommend Arron to become your tutor for this unit. I was just on the brink of passing on this unit but when I started lessons with Arron. He taught me the concepts and principles in an easy to understand structured way, also giving tips and tricks on how to work out solutions that is isn't in any lectures or note. Highly recommend Arron for this unit!

Aaron tutored me in ACST2001 and AFIN2050, he was extremely patient and would go over the content as many times as it took for me understand it. Initially when I looked at some of the more complex questions as someone who does not have a mathematical mind, I would get overwhelmed. However, Aaron would calmly break down the question and make it easy and doable for me. I would highly recommend him as a tutor – super nice and non- judgmental, you can’t ask a silly question.

Aaron helped me grasp concepts in a simple and intuitive way that were otherwise challenging at the start. Aaron was particularly helpful with ECON2041 and ECON2003. Aaron has now assisted me with Econ111 & Acst 1001. He is very patient and approached each tutoring session as if I had no prior experience with these two subjects. He also has a very strong knowledge of the course and plenty of notes that will also assist your learning. My marks have dramatically improved and I would highly recommend Aaron as your tutor!

Aaron was a fantastic tutor. He tutored me once a week over the summer session of 2019/2020. As someone who was so scared to do this first year subject and left it until 4th year for fear of failing, my knowledge of mathematics had pretty much been forgotten past the days of high school general math. Fortunately, Aaron explained content extremely well for me, built up my confidence for the exams and quizzes and really adjusted his teaching to the way I think I went from praying for a mere pass, to reaching a high credit with a mark of 74.
