I went into this course blind to anything regarding statistics and stressed as hell because I’m useless at maths. The lecturer was really passionate about what he was teaching and a fair marker, if he saw that you tried he marked accordingly. I surprisingly managed to get a good mark but I also could not tell you anything about statistics now. The lecturer did however state to people that they should attend classes whenever they asked him to clarify, which was a bit accusatory since most of us had and were just after clarification

Definitely a difficult course, but still completely possible to get a HD. Russell is an extremely good teacher and puts so much effort into his classes and online tutes. He is super willing to explain things out, and makes learning all of this statistical/program stuff bearable.
