Great subject to understand the basics of financial markets worldwide

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

A very theory based subject that is interlinked with EFB210. Discusses more in depth with research and topics compared to calculations

The lecturer ran 20 minutes late to the exam; he had the papers- they were warm from the printer. 1 page of 20 poorly put together questions for 20 marks (times new roman- circle on sheet). The approach to the subject was too casual, needed more structure and Finance background helped.

Found it very hard to follow as someone who's never taken a finance subject before. Would suggest finance 1 as a prerequisite
