Reviews

Syllabus? No, PHYS2100 is way above that.... Course doesn't follow the syllabus and despite being an Astronomy course what it really is is an introduction to Physics. Workshops do not line up with content that is taught in lectures and demonstrator is smug and generally not helpful. Every week you have homework AND a quiz due, each of which make up less than 1% of your total mark. Quiz is 5 questions so not too bad but homework is 3+pages and takes hours to complete EVERY week. Tutorials are useless - complete your quiz and look through a telescope at a dot in the sky. NO explanation of what you're looking at and because the lectures consist of physics theories and equations you have no idea either. Really can't think of anything positive about this course....
