Reviews

This course is a real grind, it is 150% full of useful and interesting content, if you want to properly understand a lot of the content you will have to put in a lot of extra time.

I found the course a good but hard course in some aspects. I enjoyed both the lecturers, but enjoyed the Differential Equations part of the course better. If you keep up to date and do that weekly problem sets you'll be able to go great in the quizzes. As long as you study the past papers as this will nearly be identical to your final exam you should be fine.

It may be my personal learning style, but I found the content taught in a very confusing way by Bishnu and Bjorn. I learnt most of the content by doing textbook questions. The weekly quizzes are very, very hard.

Excellent subject, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great teaching by Bishnu

Math2310 was one of the more ill laid out maths courses I have done to date. The material was good, however the tutorials were not scheduled at the right times so that the material could be cemented in, the split up of the two sections, differential equations and multivariable calculus was fine, but there needed to be more coherency with the tutorials and exams.
