Course was ok, I don't particularly like chemistry so it was a challenge for me to actively engage in the course. Well organised & the lecturers were all relatively good.

Not an easy course but very beneficial and interesting. I recommend doing it as a winter or summer course as it's much easier to get assistance and no lab reports!

Great course - try to get the most out of the lab component, instead of just memorising the material.

Really interesting course. If you haven't completed any HSC science, it's a great subject that just helps makes sense of the world. It's challenging at times but with the change in labs in 2016 it should be far more approachable.

Not a bad course. Definitely the kind of course that requires very active learning to truly master. The material provided is a good start but not enough to truly smash the subject.

Chem is a really well taught subject but make sure to keep up with it all as it goes really quickly.

Not an easy course, basic math skills essential, esp algebra and ratios, high school chem would make this much easier. Course delivery can be frustrating sometimes in that you're doing labs before you've done the lecture content you need for them but if you read the text a lot it helps. Personally prefer the text from last year to the 2014 one - Chemistry The Central Science is a better book imo. Need to stay on top of this one as there are assignments and quizzes or a lab report due every week and it moves at a fast pace. Lecture times suck so be ready for early starts and late finishes.

Good science background and decent math skills will be helpful to this coarse
