Lecturer is god awful, lectures are boring and useless. There are two main assignments that are poorly structured so you are often scrambling to figure out what is expected. Would never take this unit if i didnt have to.

Walk the other way. This unit felt poorly taught. I would recommend MTH1010 or MTH1020 over this. I'd rather be stuck in a perpetual VCE Methods spiral than touch this unit again.

Lectures were boring and answers to queries barely ever helped.

For anyone who has to do a maths unit but hates maths, this is the one for you. Very boring lectures but the content is relatively simple. Tutorials are also pretty good, depending on your tutor.

Sojin is a very good lecturer, she is very helpful if you get stuck and always replies to emails to help. The TAs were also very helpful. The content can get a little dry at times, but make sure you stay up to date because the exam is very comprehensive.

Dianne is definitely the best lecturer in any unit I've done this year. Pretty easy unit just make sure if you want to get a HD to turn up to the Tutes and do the prelim as they are easy ways to get marks. The assignments are pretty easy just little things like using names of the IV and EV in stead of x and y and getting the graphs right.

Really easy unit but can get very dry. Lectures are very informative but super boring however it's best if you attend the lectures. Dianne is a very good lecturer but does tend to talk about unnecessary stuff every now and then however, before exams when i was having certain difficulties she agreed to meet me and help me understand a whole section in just 1 hour! Really amazing Always try and get Uzma Ahmed as a tutor for your workshop as she is extremely helpful and really nice and a really good at explaining. The assignments aren't too hard either and the marking is pretty linear.

This was helpful for those who hadn't had experience in scientific writing. It can be a bit boring, but moving into post-grad it gives you an advantage over those that haven't had these classes

Great for students without a strong mathematical background and useful for those majoring in psychology and biological/biomedical sciences. Dianne is a wonderful lecturer, always willing to help, and makes revision easier for students by summarising material in an easy-to-digest way. Tutes are a good place to practice and apply lecture content. Good lead-in to STA1010.
